Ric’s Timeline

August 1984 – May 1986

Music Initiation

Ric Albano began writing lyrics as early as August 1984 and, a year later was his first musical experience when he formed a four-piece rock band called “Running Wild” as lead vocalist. The group played one live gig in May 1986 before disbanding shortly after.
 


 

April 1987 – December 1996

Early Recordings

In the late 1980s through the mid 1990s, Ric developed private recordings of original compositions, gradually adding new instrumentation and techniques. This phase resulted in over 300 semi-professional recordings, none of which were published.
 


 

November – December 1989

Audio Production Education

Attended classes at Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, Ohio, learning skills in analog, digital, studio and live audio production. Here, Ric also recorded a composition in a studio environment.
 


 

1990 – 2000

Live Sound

Along with being a musician in several bands, Ric spent a decade as a live sound engineer with several touring acts in Pennsylvania.
 


 

January 1999 – May 2002

University Education

13 years after graduating high school, Ric pursued higher education in computer science. This started at Penn State University and moved to Bloomsburg University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2002.
 


 

July 2004 – September 2009

Imaginary Lines

The initial recording project (which was later rolled into Sinclair Soul), Imaginary Lines was a five-year studio recording project. The project culminated with the triple-length album Imaginary Lines 33, released on 09/09/09.
 


 

October 2005 – Present

Cygnus Wave Records & Publishing

With the release of the original Imaginary Lines record in 2005, came the independent label Cygnus Wave. This label helped produce several artist projects and compilations through the years and is now starting to focus more on song publishing and placement.
 


 

March 2009 – Present

33 Dimensions, LLC

On March 3, 2009, Ric officially launched 33 Dimensions, a business focused on high-quality websites and digital marketing for small businesses, musicians and artists. Through the years, the business adapted many new technologies and business strategies to thrive in this field.
 


 

October 2010 – Present

River of Rock Music Network

With the official launch of “Modern Rock review” on 10/10/10, came the unofficial start of the River of Rock music network. Through the 2010s, the network grew with Classic Rock Review and Roots Rock Review, covering recorded and live music from all angles.
 


 

August 2013 – Present

Ric Albano Solo

Performing at night clubs, coffee houses, festivals and various other events, Ric has performed hundred of live gigs through the years and will continue to do so in the future. He has also produced and released two solo records, Out There Somewhere (2020) and Another Rock to Roll (2022).
 


 

March 2017 – April 2026

Sinclair Soul

Starting in 2017, the core trio formally of Imaginary Lines reunited to record and produce eight records starting in 2017. In total, the Sinclair Soul project encompasses eight records, including five studio albums and three compilations which total over 100 recordings and span nearly two decades.
 


 

July 2026 – Presence

Crimson White Indigo

With the celebration of the 250th birthday of the USA, Ric launched his latest initiative called Crimson White Indigo (the colors of the flag). This site both celebrates and critically examines American culture and promise trough the years as well as proposes future needs.
