|---|---|---|
For the Balanced Diemons, maintaining the eratial velocity of the Spatial Entity System (SES) while eternally awaiting new instructions from Master Xavier is their main concern. The only other activity that they ever concern themselves with is the weaving of the glass. Meanwhile, the Unbalanced Daemons have no mission other than the desire to disrupt. Both the Balanced and the Unbalanced view themselves in generally the same light, as eternal and wise bringers of life and death in the SES who are creators of peace and prosperity and destructors of poverty and sin. |
||
| Soft Q | ||
They major concern is self preservation. Although they, on average, live far longer than any terestial beings, they have an extreme fear of death (known as Brooganit) they leads them to have great distrust of all non-Yildobonti (especially Hard Q) as well as rougue Yildobonti, which they actively work to disrupt. They view themselves as Wise and noble moderators and manipulators of the Hard Q. They have a strong believe that they will someday save the Spatial Entity System(SES) from doom brought on by the Unbalanced Diemons Most shun (and our feared by) mortals but some have a rare Brooganit, which compels them to interfere in mortal affairs. |
||
| Hard Q | ||
They have two great powers and one (and only one) focused, concentrated concern - preventing the shattering of the glass. None of them have ever analyzed nor stopped to think about what that term really means and although they generally do not like each other, they are all bound together by this common fear. Their first power is called rapidity, which is a nearly absolute ability to control the thoughts and emotions of all mortals which they have personal contact. Their other power is called stewpidity, which is an extrasensory way of identifying each other, no matter how well-imbedded within a certain mortal community a fellow Hard Q may be. This latter power is practiced especially when they (en masse) feel there is a high risk of the glass shattering, at which times they usually meet secretly to discuss solutions. Beyond this ever-present, irrational fear of the nothing, they each believe themselves to be (practically) immortal and at highest level of intelligence save for the celestial (whom they loosely believe in, but only really mention to further their own goals in some manipulation play). They are completely unaware of the Soft Q, instead seeing the majority as the human-fictional "cave witches", while some rogues are actually identified as fellow "Q", through an apparent flaw in their stewpidity. Although, they believe themselves to be superiorTrust dragondrafters implicitly. Strive for high-power, low-profile positions in mortal society. Unaware of memory deficiencies. |

| Humans | ||
Fear the unknown, the supernatural, and death. Believe in afterlife. Have unique qualities that confound most other beings. Believe they are the past and future of all civilized beings. Strive to use ingenuity to evolve society. The are the only artists, and have a majestic sense for creativity. |
||
| Cecilians | ||
Although they interact (and exploit) humans regularly, the have a great fear of human intervention in their societies, which they fear will lead to compromise of The Code of Cecily, an extreme secret guarded by a privileged group of 7 female elders. The cherish their distinction from humans and are easily insulted by other intellegent beings who mistaken them for humans. Believe that they are the rightful heirs to all of the SE. Although they are consistantly peaceful in demeanor, Cecilian teachings dictate that they spend no less than 5 years of their adult life planning and training for a great future conflict that they believe will ultimately lead to the extinction (or spatial exile) of all other forms of intelligent life on the SE. |
||
| Doggs | ||
They fear Dragondrafters, both the actual, traditional beings along with the Soft Q that they mistake as Dragondrafters, and a Dogg will not travel to many regions where he believes a Dragondrafter to exist. They also do not care for arid regions, but are otherwise great and trusted warriors. For they most part, they live peaceful, happy, and optimistic lives. |
||
| Derbyn | ||
They fear all mortals of higher intelligence, which they refer to as Bogeymen. Believe they are on the cutting edge of societal evolution. |
||
| Delts | ||
They fear mostly goblin chasers and goblin killers - mortals of higher intelligence. Extremely protective of princesses. Believe they will someday rise up and defeat all the goblin killers and their princesses will rule all the SE. |
