Imaginary Lines II was, ultimately, a failed effort to follow up the richly produced 2005 release Imaginary Lines I with a simpler counterpart. At it's inception in early 2006, Imaginary Lines II was to be the second in a trilogy to be released in 2006 with the final, now defunct Imaginary Lines III closing out the project in 2007. However, the project was plagued by production delays that pushed it's release to late 2007 and cause a change in strategy in the overall project.
